“I’m not cut out to act or perform like I wish I could. Another empty dream.”

Breaking Ouroboros cos I just snatched a pair of socks from the neighbors- and they believed every word.

Alright, some premise is needed for this one. I’m entering an acting class (outside of school) at the end of this week. This is something I’ve never done before, but something I’ve always wanted to do. I was issued a few “Acting Test” which were, in essence, challenges that, if I failed to try, proved that I didn’t have the courage or determination to honestly act.

The first challenge was as follows: “Walk over to your neighbor’s house and ask to borrow a pair of socks. Why you need them is up to you. Try not to spend any time thinking about your story. Just walk over and ask for a pair of socks. If he asks why, you’ll have to improvise a reason.”

Long-short of it: I dropped everything and waltzed out the door on my mission. This neighbor, of whom I have never spoken to, believed every word of my improv once he asked why.

Thus:

I passed with flying colors- yellow and white, to be exact.
